How to wear lariats

Here is something what I found in wikipedia about lariat:
Lariat necklace A lariat is a very, very long variation on the sautoir or rope, without a clasp, often worn draped multiple times around the neck; the ends can be crossed over, looped, or knotted in various ways. This type of necklace sometimes incorporates a loop at one or both ends to allow it to be worn in the style of a lasso, or it may be worn doubled over with the ends passed through the loop formed in the middle.
Different ways of tying lariat allows to wear it with clothes of different styles: casual or business, with jeans or dress.

Here I want to share with you some pictures with lariat knots. The original site is here But it is in Russian :-)

You can wear lariat like a necklace, just tie a simple knot:

Or you can tie more interesting knots:

If you know macrame techniques, you can remember them now.
In this case, knots are tied with one end of lariat, and the second one remains straight, so when a node is ready, the length can be adjusted.

 And the plait-knot:

In this case the length of lariat becomes not adjustable. Moreover, this knot makes the lariat much shorter.

My handmade lariats:

You can find some beaded lariats in my shop on Etsy or I can make it to you for order.
This white lariat, my favourite, is quite short, 107 cm, it is for persons who don't like difficult knots:

The tassels are made with white agate beads, Swarovski beads, moon stone and czech glass beads.

This lariat is longer, 150 cm.
I have made it two days ago. The seed beads are really beautiful, the colour is deep, rich and bright.
And it is very soft, so there will not be a problem to tie any knots :)
